Equucel is highly absorbent resulting in very little bedding being discarded during mucking out and lasts 3 to 4 times longer than conventional alternatives.

Another benefit of Equucel is that it significantly reduces the odour of an animal's urine making the task of mucking out more pleasant.

During trials Equucel was found to be better for horses with allergies compared to other bedding products.
